3.) They will also be served at an upcoming event for the New York Wine and Food Festival that I will be hosting!! (More on that in a minute.)
These are somewhat similar in look and ingredients to my Caramel Apple Jello Shots, but I actually prefer them with bourbon for a slightly smokey, warm-your-belly-on-a-brisk-fall-day type of feeling.
I also used a touch of my smoked maple syrup to kick up the smokiness a notch and pair with the bourbon. (If you don't have smoked maple syrup, you can use the tiniest drop of liquid smoke or just sub with regular maple syrup.)
