N is for: Night with the Girls {Part II}

OK…so I had to post a quick follow-up to my “Night with the Girls Rose Jello Shots” post. I got together with my original “San Francisco Bachelor” girls tonight…and as a surprise, they all brought something that started with “N” to go along with my blog.

How incredibly sweet. This is why I love my girlfriends. They understand my blog obsession and completely embrace it.

Anyways, just wanted to share photos of all the wonderful food we consumed tonight while drinking wine and watching The Bachelor (while also switching back to watch the end of the Fiesta Bowl). I apologize in advance for my low-quality iPhone photos.

I’m an overachiever, so I brought a few things. (Well, mostly, I just wanted to make a bunch of stuff for the blog). I brought Butternut Squash Lasagna Cups…which I’ll be posting Tuesday.

And of course, the “Not too old for jello shots“…which were featured yesterday on the blog.

We had to be a little creative with a couple of my dishes since I didn’t know about the “N week” theme ahead of time. “Nuttin’ but goodness” almond stuffed dates. I featured these on the blog back in October.

Neufchatel and smoked salmon endive spears…these will also be featured on the blog later this week.

Remember Devon from Gluten Free Spaghetti and Meatballs? She brought Nut Thins and cheese. (gluten free of course!)

 She also brought some “Nut Toffee”…a.k.a. almond rocca.

My friend Kate brought eggnog…aka “‘Nog with nutmeg.”

She also brought Nutella with ‘Nanas and other delicious dipping vessels like strawberries and Hawaiian bread.

Amy brought a delicious noodle salad.

Our Massachusetts lady Marisa brought New England Clam Dip.

Adding to the dip department was Randi’s “No Meat Nacho Dip.”

And this photo most certainly does not do this dessert justice. Kim’s “No calories added gluten free chocolate cake with rum strawberries” was to die for. Especially with the rum whipped cream she served it with. Soooooo good.

 BTW…love the wine-holder appetizer plates. Anyways, just wanted to say thanks to my girlfriends. What a fun night of food, wine, and girl time. Can’t wait for the rest of the season!
